A story of loss, purpose, and hope
Elisa Ramos is an Empowerment and Life Purpose Coach, an author, and the founder of The Magic Bear Foundation. This non-profit brings comfort and empowered mindsets to children in hospitals and orphanages.
But before any of that, she was a mother who lost her son, Anthony. The grief was overwhelming. Yet one morning, she woke up with an undeniable urge to write a children’s book. She didn’t know why. She just wrote.
That book became Ayden and His Magic Bear, a story inspired by her rainbow baby, the child born after Anthony passed away. A friend suggested she donate the book to children in need, along with a cuddly bear. And suddenly, everything clicked.
The hospital that had supported her family during the darkest days became the first stop. She realized she could give back not just with a story, but with tools of hope, affirmations, and emotional resilience. That is how The Magic Bear Foundation was born.
Today, Elisa visits children’s hospitals, reads her book to young patients, gives each child a copy and a magic bear, and teaches them simple affirmations: I am brave. I am loved. I am strong. I am enough.
