We are taught to look outside of ourselves to feel better when the answers are right within us.
Dr. Susan’s professional and personal experiences inspired the founding of Nature’s Oak Counseling.
Today, she runs a thriving integrative psychotherapy practice in Tampa, Florida. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist, her work integrates psychological and relational health, blending traditional and holistic approaches to support emotional, relational, and spiritual healing.
She has also taught as an Adjunct College Professor and presented seminars on parenting, stress, domestic violence, relationship health, postpartum mood disorders, family business dynamics, and substance abuse.
Her journey took a transformative turn after the devastating loss of her son. Walking through her own ashes compelled her to study traumatic grief more extensively. She uses both her expertise and her lived experience to guide others through such unimaginable losses.
